Two months down, two to go...
Well I am officially two months into school- new school is going great! Am already done with first high school volleyball season (these girls were so much fun to work with)... and I have two months (minus a week now) until my wedding... still so many things to do, yet many things already taken care of... I hope I can cruise into the season and now go crazy on my family... Sorry in advance...
Vegas was awesome with my girls Mandy, Maureen and Stella... we will all set up in a swanky suite at the Venetian Hotel (thanks Mandy), we hit the strip for drinks and shopping, saw a circue du soleil show (that was more awesome than the one I saw in Seattle), and lost all my gambling moolaa... (but it was only 7 bucks so cheaper than a movie...)
I celebrated my 30th birthday with a halloweenish party at my Mary's house, with lots of old friends from my old job and Moe (braved the old teachers club)... we played guitar hero and had a fire with smores....
My wedding dress FITS!!! thank goodness... still need to make sure it fits in two months, but I worked hard to get here.... I am going to be SMOKIN" at this shindig!!!

redemption! yes...
to piggy back on the previous post about middle school volleyball players... we have redemption.
They played very well today- I was actually sitting back in my chair, clipboard on the floor under my chair, I was laughing and high five-ing the girls as they rotated in and ended games... the serving practice finally paid off! the drills to tip at the net finally got their feet to leave the floor (aka jumping) and they were proud... their parents were proud... I was proud! GO Warriors!

JUST HIT THE STINKING BALL!
Coaching middle school volleyball may very well be the death of me... let me take you to the scene...
Picture 6 middle school athletes... on the court at home... playing a "defeated" team with an undefeated record to defend (yes it is still early in the season)... the opponent serves the ball... to the same spot... 6 times in a row!!! Do you think that one would look to the coach for guidance on "what I should do?" in this situation???
NO!!!!
We are giggling... we are looking up into the stands... we are not getting into position... we are NOT LISTENING TO THE LITTLE ASIAN SCREAMING FROM THE SIDELINE!!!
Does it change??? nope.
Do we start to listen to the coach??? nope.
Do I need to rub the tattoo on my arm for inner peace to help me not strangle them??? yup.
